eLetters

eLetters is a new, free tool within our CUAlerts/eStatements program that allows United Federal Credit Union to send important account communications via email. They are quick, convenient, safe and secure. You will have access to them through PowerLink just like you currently receive your eStatements.
If you are signed up for eStatements you are already enrolled in eLetters.  To access eLetters simply log into PowerLink and click on the CUAlerts button.
Types of letters included: 
 
     Share Certificate Maturity Notification
     Overdraft Notification
     NSF Notification
     Courtesy Pay Notification
     PowerLink/TARA Password Change Notification
     and Others
 
eLetters are:
 
     Quick – Receive eLetters 2 to 3 days faster than through the mail
     Convenient – Receive your notices anywhere in the world
     Safe and Secure – Access through our online banking securely
     Environmentally Friendly – Saving paper, gasoline and waste
 
Is it really secure?
Access to eLetters is protected by individual passwords and 128-bit encryption, making them safe and secure for individuals concerned with identity theft. Electronic letter delivery prevents the possibility of theft from an unsecured mailbox should you not be home when your mail is delivered. Additionally, since eLetters are delivered 2 to 3 days earlier than paper letter, you are notified sooner of important account communications.
