These e-mails and text messages ask that the member call a number in order to have their account reactivated. Some may request that you leave callback information or provide your financial information directly. All of these messages are fraudulent. Please do not respond to these messages.
The credit union will never request personal information in this manner and any solicitation of this nature should always be considered suspicious. If you have any doubt that it is the credit union calling please request their caller's name, then hang up and call our Member Service Center at 888-982-1400 to verify the person calling is really an employee of United Federal Credit Union.
