This is the first account you will open at United Federal Credit Union, with a minimum of $5 to access all the benefits of membership (Click here for details).  Then, we'll help you reach your savings goals quickly, with automatic deposits and monthly compounding interest.

Achiever Savings
With this account, we’ll help you achieve your goals. Monthly deposits will take you where you want to go. Use it for budgeting large expenses, building a down payment for a home, vacation or any other dreams you may have.
  • Earn a higher interest rate than any other savings account with no minimum balance
  • Minimum $25 monthly deposit required (Automatic transfer is recommended)
  • Interest is calculated daily and paid monthly
  • One withdrawal allowed per calendar quarter.  A $25 fee applies to additional withdrawals.

Your savings are insured to at least $500,000; a combination of $250,000 provided by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), a U.S. Federal Government agency, and $250,000 by Excess Share Insurance (ESI), a private deposit insurance company.
